Mark on the winning photo:
Love the simplicity and long exposure that you created for this scene. Foreground is well balanced with beautiful green moss covered rocks, which gives nice contrast and makes it pop more with the soft water and moving clouds. To make this image even better try shifting your camera more towards the right, that way the island or part of land that’s showing on the left will be all gone and you’ll end up with a simple clean photo. Also I’m sure sunrise or sunset is a better time to shoot if conditons are good. But overall this is a great image Iris, well done!

Mark about the runner-up:
Love the way you captured this old historic broken bridge. The mid day light is sometimes good especially when you’re using drone. Green grass with moss going with river’s current is a big yes! Composition is on point, you included the broken base of the bridge from the left to keep it balanced. To make it a better image try next time using a polarizer for your drone to eliminate any glare from water and just shoot it a little further so you’ll have some breathing space on the left part that the base of the bridge is showing.

Mark about the third place:
Great job on capturing and being able to focus stack and showing the full dynamic range in this warm scene. Love the colors on these poppies. You waited for the sunset to hit these flowers perfectly. It’s all about timing and getting the right conditions to create a beautiful image. To make it better, I would raise my F-stop at 16 and create the sunstar or sunburst effect, it would look much sharper and cleaner (sun) foreground looks great
