The winner of the photo contest 'Animal Kingdom'
The Animal Kingdom photo contest has come to an end. We received many incredible submissions capturing photographers' wildest, most intimate, or heartwarming encounters with the animal world. We were truly touched and impressed by the beauty and elegance on display, reminding us that we share this world with other magnificent creatures. From the 25 most-voted photos, we have selected our top three. Congratulations to all the winners, and a big thank you to everyone who participated!
The winner of the photo contest fantastic is…Trevor Quinn 🏆
The winner of the contest is Trevor Quinn with his stunning shot, "Peek-a-boo." Who could resist those eyes? But it's not just the adorable owl that won us over—it’s also the composition and technical skill. The owl's eyes, perfectly centered, immediately draw our attention and capture our hearts. The bird is partially hidden behind mossy stones, with the image divided according to the golden ratio along a diagonal line. The harmonious color palette adds a mystical atmosphere, making this photo one that truly belongs on a wall. You’ve won an Xpozer 80x120cm print, featuring stunning clarity and a sleek, reusable frame.
The 2nd place goes to…Willem Verboom 🥈
Second place goes to Willem Verboom with his photo, "I See You Too." This image captures an extraordinary encounter between human and wildlife. The lynx, standing in full elegance, looks directly at the photographer, as if acknowledging their presence with mutual respect. The image instills a sense of humility, reminding us of our responsibility to protect the environment—without which, the snowy landscape that is home to this majestic creature may no longer exist. The lynx is skillfully placed, taking up one-third of the frame, creating a harmonious balance that is visually captivating. This is the kind of image the world needs! You’ll receive an Xpozer 60x90cm print, perfect for enhancing your space with vibrant, reusable art.
The 3rd place goes to…Jef Lauwers 🥉
Jef Lauwers earned third place with his mesmerizing shot of a brown-tailed horned hummingbird and a collared inca hummingbird feeding on beautiful flowers. The photo was taken at El Color de Mis Reves in the Andes Mountains, at an altitude of 2,850 meters in Colombia. It’s difficult to observe these tiny, fast-moving creatures with the naked eye, but photography allows us to appreciate their beauty in detail. Jef expertly captured them in sharp focus, placing them in a dynamic composition. Hats off to a fantastic job! You’ve won 4 EPIX Tiles, ideal for creating dynamic collages with swappable 24x24cm prints on magnetic panels.
Congratulations to all our participants! It was an honor to see such incredible photos.
